Art Builds Community

 Hi Hilltop Families!

Over the last few weeks, students in fourth grade brainstormed ideas for a work of PUBLIC ART that could improve our school community. Some ideas included a friendship bench to extend our anti-bullying campaign, or a sculpture of our mascot, Earnie the eagle, to remind students of Earnie's PBIS Expectations. Students created a 3-dimensional paper model of their sculpture location and a clay model of their sculpture subject. Finished sculptures are currently on display in the front lobby.
